You upload
A folder of scans
You download
Every photo · one ZIP
Drop dozens of scans or a whole folder at once. Each one is detected in order, and you can fix early scans while later ones are still processing.
Scanning the same layout again and again? Copy one scan’s boxes to the whole batch, keep them in sync, or save the layout as a template for next time.
Example · Instant prints

- Select many files with Ctrl/⌘ or Shift, or drag a folder.
- Layout → “Copy this layout to all scans” repeats one set of boxes.
- Synced boxes move together on every scan.
- Templates are saved in this browser for your next batch.
From a folder to files
Many scans in. One ZIP out.
Every scan keeps its own boxes; the export names files after their scan and number.

box1_page01.jpg … box1_page24.jpg → one ZIP with every photo
How it works
How to batch crop images
Four steps for a whole stack of scans.
01
Drop the batch
Select many files or drag a folder — JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, TIFF or PDF.
02
Detect or copy
Let detection box each scan, or copy one scan’s layout to every scan.
03
Check the grid
All scans with their crop counts at a glance; open any one to fix it.
04
Export once
Pick format, size, margin and file names, then download every photo as a ZIP.
Batch crop
What is batch cropping?
Batch cropping means applying crops to many images in one session instead of opening each file in an editor. For scans that is usually one of two jobs: finding different photos on every page (detection does this per scan), or cutting the same positions out of every page — contact sheets, film holders, a fixed scanner template.
AI Auto Cropper does both. Detection runs on every scan you add. For fixed layouts, Layout → Copy this layout to all scans repeats the boxes of the current scan on every other one, scaled to each image. Sync keeps those boxes linked, so moving one moves it everywhere. Save the layout as a template and apply it to the next batch.
Everything stays in your browser. Need single-scan help instead? Try the scan cropper or the album page cropper.

Use cases
When batch cropping saves hours
Any stack of scans that needs the same treatment.
Film holders & contact sheets
The same frames in the same place on every scan — copy one layout to all.
Shoebox digitizing
Drop a folder of flatbed scans; each one is split into its prints.
Whole albums
A PDF of an album becomes one scan per page, processed in order.
Cards & postcards
Scan a grid of cards per sheet and reuse the grid as a template.
One export
File names from a template like {file}_{crop}, numbered across the batch.
Private by design
Scans are processed on your device and never uploaded.

Why batch
Why not crop each file by hand?
Fifty scans with four photos each is two hundred selections, exports and file names in a desktop editor. Here it is one drop, a quick look at the grid, and one export — with undo for anything you change.
- Many files or a folder at once
- Copy, sync or template a layout
- One ZIP, consistent file names
Examples
Batches it handles
Detection per scan, or one layout repeated.

Instant prints
Six frames per sheet
A grid of instant prints — detect it once, then reuse the layout for the next sheets.

Album pages
A PDF of album pages
Every PDF page becomes its own scan and is split into its prints.
Comparison
Batch cropping vs. one file at a time
The same crops, with and without a batch workflow.
You stay in control
Detection is a starting point, not a black box. Before you export you can:
- Move, resize or rotate any box (with undo)
- Draw a box the detector missed, or use the 4-point tool
- Copy a layout or template to a whole batch
